Painters Farm Campsite
Now in our fourth season we have received a number of great reviews.
10/10 Best campsite we've stayed at in years.
Hosts are so friendly and helpful. Communication before the stay was straightforward with super quick response time.
The site is really clean and well maintained (short grass, hooray!). The separate play area for ballgames was a massive hit for the children (and adults!). A fantastic stay was had by all. Thank you Karen & Simon
10/10 Wonderful greeting - felt very welcomed. Superb location right next to the pub and with a lovely dog walk through the woods.
Lovely hot showers - never needed to queue. Went to Whitstable for the day. 20 minutes from Painters Farm. Wonderful seaside town. We'll definitely be back to Painters Farm again. Highly recommended.
10/10 Wonderful, chilled camping break. Simon and Karen are amazing hosts and run a well maintained and organised site. Quite fancy keeping it a secret!
10/10 Clean toilets and showers. Washing machine and tumble dryer for a small charge and a chest freezer so you can put your freezer packs in free of charge. There is also a small shop onsite with essential foods to buy as well as some ice lollies at reasonable price.
There is a little dog exercise grass and a football one for the kids to use and I also loved the idea of parking in the car park once unloading for safety of the children.
Friendly staff that run it and are very helpful and would definitely come back.
10/10 Great site. Lovely spot, all grass & cherry trees, lots of space around us. Came for one night, stayed for four! Karen & Simon great hosts, facilities were spotless & couldn’t have been better. V welcoming pub just 5 minutes walk where we had a lovely meal. Big bonus if like us you don’t want to have to drive everywhere in your motorhome was having a bus stop right by the pub. Also, best wifi we’ve ever had at any campsite.
10/10 Fantastic site and location.
Very clean and accommodating.
Site was immaculate and hosts were so friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond to help out with any questions and advice.
Would recommend and will definitely be back.
Many thanks guy's.
10/10 When we arrived at Painters Farm we were greeted by Karen and Simon ,they were very welcoming and friendly. Karen gave us a choice of 3 camping pitches to choose from, she also advised us on what way to park our Campervan to get the best view of the sunrise and sunset ,Karen was right ,the view was amazing. The land was flat ,we had plenty of space and the grass was nicely cut with beautiful trees dotted about. There was an extra area to play ball games which was a bonus. The toilet/shower block was nice and clean and so was the washing up area outside. This area was all lit up at night. There was a little shop selling a few essentials which was very handy and at a good price . Also there is an outside tap for drinking water. In the barn area was a tractor and a few farm items on display. My family and I enjoyed having fun and being together toasting marshmallows over our fire pit watching the sunset. Our dog also enjoyed his walks in the fields and strolling up the lane to a dog friendly pub were we had a delicious meal. This is the second time we have camped at Painters Farm and we will definitely be booking another visit very soon.
10/10 Excellent site in a stunning location a couple of miles from Faversham town centre. The site managers are lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly with playing field area at the back for ball games etc... Strong wifi included. Good, clean facilities with decent showers and large washing up area. Shop in the reception area for supplies. Woods nearby for great dog walks and excellent pub with extensive beer garden a short walk away. What's not to like?
10/10 Really well organised and clean. Site managers were excellent - just the right combination of organised and relaxed to offer a really lovely service. Nicely spaced pitches and no problem hiring a fire pit which we've struggled with elsewhere.
The orchard trees make all the difference. They add character unique to this site as many are just open fields.
Take away pizza from The Alma was a godsend after a delayed arrival and rushed pitch.
10/10 This is my favourite site, I visit multiple times a year.
Staff (Karen & Simin) are on hand & always with a smile, you’ll not find a happier more welcoming pair.
The facilities are clean & well maintained.
The sunsets are exceptional.
10/10 ‘The staff are incredible, accommodating and easy to get on with. Nothing is ever too much.
The site is peaceful and beautiful surrounded by orchards and fruit/nut trees.
The atmosphere is calming and welcoming.
The facilities are always clean, plenty of room and helping hands.
Overall, such a great site. I've been camping for over 30 years. It's hard to find a site like this.’ Lu
10/10 ‘Simon and Karen are so friendly and caring about the campsite. Everything was amazing, the pitch, showers and toilet block was spotless, and showers had fantastic hot water. The onsite tuck shop was stocked well (Went in for bread on Sunday morning before we left). Very good location. We went into Faversham for a few hours on Saturday. Meal at The Alma on Friday night was enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly on the camp site. We will be booking for next year for longer stay. Would really recommend this campsite. 5***** plus. Thank you, Simon and Karen.’
10/10 ‘Arriving at the campsite was the best arrival experience we have had anywhere. The folks running it are friendly and helpful. It's an attractive, compact campsite with a handy location and very good and clean bathroom facilities. Impossible to fault.’ Paul
10/10 Beautiful site with excellent facilities. Good showers, clean toilets, washing up area etc. Good location for North Kent Coast, Faversham (very interesting old town), Canterbury etc. Rural location with faint motorway noise, which didn’t worry us. Simon and Karen are exceptionally friendly, helpful site managers. Thoroughly recommended. Richard
10/10 ‘Perfectly located for Kent beaches and rural activities. We loved having a field next to us for dog walking. The host was very helpful and always on hand if we needed anything. Facilities clean and well serviced, five star campsite.’ Sarah
10/10 Lovely little campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Cars are parked in the upper field which gave the site a safe, quiet and peaceful feel. Had a very happy stay there. Maria
10/10 This is an absolute gem. Passed all expectations, friendly staff and very clean. The fellow campers were brilliant and really respected each other. Dog friendly, kid friendly and beautiful location. Will definitely return again and can probably say this is my new favourite camp spot in Kent.
10/10 ‘Met by the host as I drove up, shown to my pitch. Really enjoyed the vibe of the campsite on Saturday night with the barbecues going and the small camp fires. The site is about 15-20 minute drive to Whitstable, but we also used it as a base to visit Margate too! The people on the site were really friendly and the place really suited the kids. The washrooms were great, very clean and well maintained. They charged 50p for a 7 minute shower, which seems very fair. Yep, I really liked the site, the host and the people, so I would recommend to others.’ Duncan
10/10 ‘The relaxed atmosphere was lovely, We chose our own pitch and there was plenty on room between. The owner was really helpful and obliging’ Nicola
